Adult Women (English & Spanish-speaking) and Homeschool Students (1st-12th grade) will be studying the book of Genesis for 24 weeks and the book of Job for 6 weeks. Children ages birth-Kindergarten will receive loving and fun Biblical teaching from the Old and New Testaments.
Class will begin September 10, 2026, and will continue on Thursdays from 10:30am-12:15pm at Lakeway Church.
Come see what happens in people's lives when the discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with home study questions and a commentary. Each week, you'll come to class to participate in a small group discussion and be part of a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within our caring community.

MINISTRIES
Next Gen Ministry
We are excited to welcome children and youth from birth through 12th grade to study God’s Word with us! Our goal is to offer them a warm, caring environment filled with the love of Jesus to help each child grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually. We also aim to encourage and assist parents in the training and instruction of their children in the Lord. The loving servants in our CBS Children’s Ministry will engage babies, preschool, and young elementary children through interactive Bible storytelling, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games, and other activities. For homeschool students in grades 1-12, our CBS Youth Ministry provides the opportunity to participate in the same study of God’s Word as their moms with age-appropriate learning materials provided. These students will complete Home Study Questions during the week and engage in a Core Group discussion during class led by trained teachers. Students also complete Scripture memory work and participate in music, games, and other activities. There is a Tuesday afternoon group option for Middle School girls to attend CBS after school.
